A & H Asprou

Absolutely wonderful staff and services. The barbers are courteous and friendly and very knowledgeable of their trade. It’s rare to find a barber in the states that does hot towel straight razor shaves but this shop proclaims proudly on their window front that they offer them. Those of you who know me know how much i love them so i just couldn’t resist having one. The experience was everything i was hoping for. My barber was Carl so if you ever get to stop in ask for him. You won’t be disappointed!

Before I moved to Cardiff this was always my local hairdresser. There were many reasons I loved going to this barbers. I loved the service you got; the price was fantastic for the cut you received, and you always walked away with a high quality cut and you knew you would be back again.
A&H Asprou are a barbershop located on Holton Road in Barry, it’s just on the outskirts from the main town. You can immediately tell that it is a men’s barbershop because of all the reading material there is whilst you sit and wait. You have many newspapers but also the magazine FHM. This is definitely a ‘no girls allowed’ zone. I’m drifting from the point now, what I want to stress about this place is the service is fantastic, you can walk in without an appointment and wait, and it’s very cheap. I remember paying £8 for my last cut and it was one of the best I had. It can get busy on certain days especially the weekend, but if you are prepared to wait then you will get the best cut you deserve.
A&H Asprou is an excellent barber shop where you can get a cheap and amazing hair cut along with the high level of service by the guys who work there. One of the best!
