This large Primark shop is based just inside Eastgate leading onto the high street and makes a great cut-through(thats what I tell my husband) Unfortunatley it can get very ‘jumble sale’ like with clothes thrown everywhere. It is based over two floors with access obtained by an escalator or if you need a lift which there is always a queue for. We do however forgive Primark for these things due to the the great range of cheap fashionable clothing and shoes. You might somethimes need to rummage and then queue but it is worth it just for the savings. Not always the best qualilty but you get what you pay for. Great for summer basics — vest tops, t-shirts, swim wear etc.

This store used to be a bit of a flea market a few years ago with clothes flung everywhere and no real order to the store. This has definitely changed over the last year. Obviously with this chain of stores it is always extremely busy but one thing I will say is that they always have plenty of staff manning the tills so that the queues move quickly. The store has more of a structure now but I would still advise to make this the first stop on your shop as by the end of the day half the stock is on the floor. The majority of the staff are school kids and are not the most friendly or helpful but you have to expect that the service won’t be amazing as this is one of the more affordable stores. Always a good bargain to be had and they always have out a variety of sizes.

Dubbed as Primani Primark is a godsend to all those fashion seekers who don’t have unlimited funds to spend on clothse. An excelent range of items, ladies, gents, kids and babies clothing, always up to date and eye catching designs. A great lingerie and nightwear department, everything is reasonably priced. Primark also have seasonal ranges, i.e. beachwear in the summer and festive party wear at Christmas time. Some sof furnishings such as bed linnen, tea towels etc are also available.

one of the largest primarks in the area, offering a wide range of cheap clothing and homewares for all the family. easily accessible and easy to find clothing, with staff who are helpful and friendly, even when needing to get arefund or exchange on a product(providing you have a receipt). well set out, but can get a bit messy and cluttered at times, cheap and cheerful and good value for money. it is more aimed at woimens fashion, but i have found some great work trousers(combats) which have washed up well too.

Always busy and a nightmare with a buggy but I still buy lots of stuff there. I really love their nightware for both adults and children. Good service. The knitware looks nice but it’s not going to last a long time but then again you don’t go into primark to buy something that will last for years it’s more of a cheap fix to update classics. The towels are surprisingly good I have had mine for quite a few years and they have washed really well. The carrier bags are brown paper. They have a good lift and escalators too.

This shop is what you would expect of a Primark full of cheap good that are not very good quality but satisfactory when it only costs you about £2. Unfortunately the shop is always a mess. Whilst the shop is large there are too many displays, which often are too close together to walk through and there is ALWAYS clothes on the floor everywhere. IF you can’t find what you want on the shelves have a look on the floor. The staff do run round trying to sort this out but they simply can’t keep up. If you don’t like having to fight your way to a shelf avoid this shop on a Saturday it gets manic!

Another of Primark’s stores full to capacity with bargains galore. Judgin by the number of people in here last week I reckon everyone in the UK will end up with at least one Primark gift! The accessories, as always, great bargains to be had for small change. The mens department is well stocked but very few items in XXL and with the sizes of people changing rapidly in the UK these might need addressing sooner than later. Mind you a lot of the ladies wear in Primark looks like it stretches beyond the bounds of expectation and one lady assured me that she always buys her tops there although she is two sizes bigger! On that I would beware as the sizes look like they are accurate to size. Womens wear as always seems to be in tune with what todays youngsters want and this shop was certainly doing a roaring trade. As always in the Primark’s I have been to the checkouts are well manned and you soon get to the front of the queue. Well worth a visit as in here you can get a similar outfit to another well known shop for well under a ¼ of the price!
