The Bolton Arms is one of my local pubs. It’s run by a lovely Scottish couple who make you feel very welcome and it’s clear from the standard of the service that they love running a pub! There’s both a restaurant menu and a more basic bar menu. Both are good value for money. Personally prefer the atmosphere in the bar area and would always choose to eat there rather than in the restaurant.
