Another decent Nando’s. We were there mid afternoon and surprisingly the place was packed. The place is pretty large so there was no wait time. This Nando’s is just about clean enough, the staff are friendly enough and the food is yummy!

I’m a diehard Nando’s fan, but this was the worst Nando’s I’ve ever been to in US or UK. Waited 18 minutes for my lunch takeout order(1 main + 2 sides) to be ready, which is twice the time compared to the usual 9 – 11 minutes at most other Nando’s. Got back to the office to find no utensils & no napkins. Took one bite of the side salad to a crunchy dirt specks — posting a photo of the dirty lettuce. The two stars is only for the kind waiters at the tills. It wasn’t their fault that the place clearly doesn’t have its business running properly.

Always an enjoyable place to eat. Good food at a reasonable price.

The Chicken with Hot sauce the closet you feel to Indian in non-indian foods. They have various levels of hot sauces so you could go with what you can manage. Also have Good ciders to go along with the chicken.

Fantastic food as with every Nando’s. This is also a very well set-out restaurant.

The first Nando’s was started in the Southern suburbs of Johannesburg, which happens to be quite extensively populated by Portuguese people. Their popularity grew throughout South Africa, and then sent a few tentative feelers further affield. I think Australia was the first. In the early days Nando’s restaurants proudly displayed little wooden plaques with the names of all towns and cities around the world where they had a branches. This made interesting reading as we enjoyed our Nando’s chicken and we were proud of their success. Of course, they eventually stopped that nice little tradition as the number of branches grew exponentially! As an ex– Johannesburger, I can’t help feeling a certain warmth every time I enter a Nando’s –wherever I find it! The unique flavour is identical at every branch! The quality has never disappointed me, and my ‘Local’ Nando’s at Festival Place, Basingstoke is no exception! Sure, there may be a queue. –But this bears witness to the taste, quality, value and atmosphere that keeps Nando’s popular!

Enjoyed dinning here. Take a table, read the menu, pay at the front, but then from that point its table service. Staff were friendly, and got tipped well :) Place was clean and tidy, and the selection of food while limited to well chicken, had enough variety to keep everyone happy ;) Free refils on soft drinks is a nice bonus. toilets were also nice and clean !

This is a typical Nando’s Chickenland restaurant just outside the main Festival Place shopping centre, and offers a wide range of chicken products and side orders. Like many Nando’s restaurants, the queues can be excessive and you are often forced to wait 10 – 15 minutes in the seated waiting area for a table. The food is the high end of fast food, with chicken burgers, whole chickens in various portion sizes and chicken breasts in pitta dominating the menu. There are a few vegetarian options available, but if you don’t want chicken this isn’t the best restaurant to go to. The service is often friendly and efficient, and despite the nature of Nando’s being self service I have often found the staff very helpful when looking for condiments.

Pretty standard for a chain such as nando’s. Food was the standard anything you like as long as its chicken! parking is a bit of a bind as you have to use the facilities in the shopping centre, which is cheap, which may mean a trip round the one way system!!! overall pretty ok for a quick meal out

For me personally Nando’s is not somewhere I could possibly take my ds son and I was really disappointed. I found it difficult to find a seat and table big enough to take me, my son and all my shopping bags. I also didn’t like the fact that you had to go to the counter to order your meal as it was so busy and I didn’t want to leave my 5 year old sitting on his own in such an atmosphere. I ended up just leaving in the end so didn’t really sample the food which I’ve heard is very good. Maybe better for a family night out but not very good if you just want a nice afternoon meal out.

Nando’s is great for a family meal out in Basingstoke. Really love the idea of offering so many ways of serving the humble chicken! The service is quick if you are in a hurry and there is something to suit everyone even vegetarians. Nando’s is well located and there is ample parking in Festival Place.

Good for chilli lovers, should be good for kids but watch the chilli !! Discovered Nando’s first in Reading and was hooked. A simple concept, chicken with nice fries and a selection of salads, it seems to be catching on with a Nando’s listed as opening in the new leisure construction in Aldershot! The décor I guess is South American and it has a good family feel with bench seating and casual dress. A great feature for the kids are the free drinks refills. As the place is usually pretty busy, the pay upfront policy is a timesaver even if it can seem a bit odd waiting to pay before eating.

Very good fast food — if you like chicken. Not expensive and freshly made food, so Nando’s is the ideal place to stop for lunch whilst out shopping or in the evening before going out for drinks.
