I am not a fan of Tapas as the dishes are too small and I am more for the buffet or larger type plating. The owner was very disrespectful towards his staff and made the atmosphere uncomfortable as it caused a silence however for the food I got it was tasty.

I have been here so many times it frightening I would go more if it wasn’t so out the way for me I would like to start with a negative so you know what you are getting… When it’s busy the service is slow… If you are in any kind of hurry or feeling hangry… Go here on a quieter night The positives outweighs that one negative by 100⁄1 Foods amazing — always, never had a bad dish Prepared fresh, brought out at different times as different dishes takes different times to make… This is the way it should be!!! Team and management are lovely, just over worked! The interior is splendidly decorated and is a real surprise when you first walk in as the exterior and location don’t hint at how nice it may be Writing this I’ve put myself in the mood to go back!

It’s hard to deny that Las Ramblas provides great value for money, especially Monday-Wednesday when you’re getting the best of their deals, but their service really lets them down. We had booked a table a week in advance for a special occasion, only to find the when we arrived there(on time) they had given the table away and we had to wait for another. After eventually being seated we had to wait again to be given menus and then about 20 minutes for anyone to take a drinks order — the first round of drinks brought over were wrong. Eventually our food order was taken, however about 30 minutes later one dish was placed on our table and nothing else followed for nearly 20 minutes. Now, I understand that in most tapas restaurants the food is brought out when it’s ready with little structure, however having ordered 15 dishes between the 5 of us we were a little disappointed to only be given one dish in the space of 50 minutes. When our food did arrive it was great, everything was cooked to perfection and despite some very vague menu descriptions it was nearly all as expected(minus the haggis bon bons — which instead was a single bon bon on top of a tower of neeps and tatties). We definitely enjoyed and got great value from the 3 for £10 deal. Not sure if I’d visit again due to the disappointing service, but the £1.50 tapas menu on a Monday & Tuesday is an absolute bargain so we’ll see!

A quid fifty a tapas?! Eh aye. Yes please. Check this place out on a Monday night where they do their fantastic £1.50 tapas menu. The choices are great, everything from your usual patatas bravas offenders right up to the more elite pan fried chorizo warriors. With its warm and buzzing Español atmosphere it’s a great mid-week treat to catch up with friends or enjoy a romantic meal, especially if it’s before payday — or you’re feeling tight. I would recommend to book well in advance as it does get extremely busy!

I enjoyed a delicious meal at Las Ramblas with a group of friends on the 4 tapas for £10 deal. The service was good and the atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed. The menu boasted good variety and the food was fresh and tasty — I’ll definitely be visiting again soon.

Loved it! Great food, great service, great atmosphere! Went on a Thursday night on the recommendation of a friend — had a delicious selection of tapas at 4 for a tenner. Highly recommended. Will definitely go back again.

A great tapas restaurant. Me and my boyfriend eat from the tapas menu, and were very impressed. It wasn’t overly expensive(3 for £9, from 5pm) and the food was extreamly nice. The interior is really nice although it was quite quiet because it was mid week, so not a lot of atmosphere.

Las Ramblas is a nice tapas bar in Beradsen. I think it’s owned by the Harlequin group who also own the famous Ashoka restaurants. Las Ramblas opened last year and is bright and clean inside and the décor looks very authentic Spanish. The menu is varied with a great selection of tapas dishes including meat, fish or vegetables. The food was tasty and well presented and the prices are very reasonable. Service isn’t great — staff are a bit too slow and could do with being a bit more attentive. Get your drinks orders in early because you’ll only be asked once! The atmosphere isn’t as lively as La Tasca but for those who are local to Bearsden it’s worth a visit and nice to have somewhere else to eat without going in to town or the west end. They have recently started a take away service but I’ve not heard good reports — two hours for a home delivery to arrive!
