Nice old place with good facilities. Nice to see some great acts of yesterday too. Guys and gals that run the place are a good sort

The Corn Exchange is the bedfords most cultured venue(take it in context) and offers a reasonably diverse calendar of events throughout the year. Offering live music, theatre, art and record sales it will give anything a go but personally it’s main strength is bringing decent comedy acts to a town that can really do with a bit of humour.

I not only sung here as a young, high-voiced soprano(or should that be treble) in the school choir(woo hoo!) I also went to see Mark Thomas and Ardal O’Hanlon here in all their comedy glory. The venue is a great size for stand up comedy as it’s big enough to accomodate a fairly large audience without the loss of intimacy, also note the plaque on the outside saying that Glen Miller sang here years ago.

One of the main areas for touring entertainment in the town. The Corn Exchange regularly has well known stand up comedians as well as musicians that have been around for a number of years. The Corn Exchange mainly focuses on the 30 – 60 age range but often has productions for children.

A clean place with very helpful staff. They all know what they are talking about and have a smile for customers. Good prices too.

The Bedford Corn Exchange is where all of the main music and theatrical events are held in Bedford, it has shows on every week from tribute acts like Queen and Abba to variety shows such as the Circus of Horror and The Lady Boys of Bangkok. The hall itself is very large and the stage and seating is removable so it can be hired out for private functions such as a wedding reception. It has 2 bars inside and good toilet facilities so you don’t normally have to queue for long but it doesn’t have a car park so sometimes you have a walk to get there depending on where you find a space. Ticket prices are reasonable.
