Had a lovely freshly cooked meal for our Anniversary, found this to be a friendly local pub. All food is freshly cooked and the meat comes from the village butchers. Will definately go back as reasonably priced and there is a fairly large restaurant also. Nice local people to chat to. Nice landlady.

I came across this place through a friend and how pleasant. Apparantly recently taken over — what a joy. Very friendly and welcoming, nice atmosphere and my partner was happy with the pool table. If in area do pop in — definately better than others around.
