Brush Strokes

Yep, I’m the dude who likes to wander through your Homebase’s and B+Q’s of the world checking out the DIY stuff and seeing what the latest wallpapers are looking like. I was surprised to stumble across this rather swanky looking décor store down on Queen St.
It’s an impressive looking 2 storey building with the whole front done out with glass. That in itself is very eye-​catching and the shop inside looks very nicely done up as well.
They’ve got pretty much everything to paint/​decorate your house. paints, brushes, accessories, stencils and of course a large selection of wallpapers. They had a load of designs in which I’ve never seen before and it was nice to see some slightly more off the wall (sorry!) stuff that the larger chain stores don’t stock.
If you’re thinking about tarting up the spare room or even doing a whole revamp this place is well worth a visit just to see a few different options and get some ideas.
Pros: Uncluttered show, pleasant staff.
Cons: Bit out of the way.
