Keen to demonstrate awareness of every passing trend in ladies shoes, well that’s the impression I got when I heard the assistant’s loud proclamation about the current season’s fashions, there’s a lot of silver, black and purple in this shop.
I’m all for funky shoes, but some of those platform purple numbers were hard to get your head around though there were also some relatively sensible women’s black leather boots. But in the teeth of purple platforms, who wants sensible?
A woman tried on and admired the boots as I tried to make up my mind about this shop and turned over a few shoes on the shelves. Just ok is the verdict, though maybe this wasn’t quite the best season for me. Well, there has to be some reason.
