Cherryvalley Health Centre

I have heard loads of people really giving off about this health centre, but I think for an NHS service which is no doubt over stretched and under funded, I think they are doing a good job.
I use the surgery both for myself and for my two children and the GPs in my surgery (I think there are three surgeries in total) are welcoming and reassuring. I have never been made to feel like an over anxious mother even when the kids do that annoying kid thing of being really ill at home and then being fit as a fiddle 10 minutes later in the doctor’s office.
I go for everyday GP appointments, have been to the baby weighing clinics and the asthma clinic. I also got a steroid injection in my knee a few months ago which is classed as a minor op and was treated expertly.
Repeat prescriptions are always ready promptly and you can get appointments within a few days, sooner if you feel you need it.
All in all, it’s fine by me.
I love the sign beside the sample deposit box which tells people not to leave samples after 1pm on Friday. Imagine those lying there all weekend — wouldn’t like to be opening the doors on Monday morning!
