Costa coffee has some of the highest caffeine content as compared with other high street brands– hence why it’s my fav for a caffeine fix

Today we stopped for a mocha with my boyfriend. hoping to have a tasty coffee after a week juicing :) Unfortunately the mocha was not nice at all, the cream on top looked like a cheap ready to use cream from a supermarket, not a proper home whipped cream, it melted in a few seconds and made the top of my coffee look like there is floating oil on it… yakk. Also the toilets are out of order, which is in my opinion unacceptable from a well know coffee shop. Mothers were forced to change the baby’s nappy on a table in a corner of the shop. Well… I guess we will pick Nero or Starbucks next time.

There’s much that can be said for Costa Coffee shops in truth, you pretty much know what you are going to get, but I thought I would add a little extra insight to this particular branch. It’s location makes it ultra handy to grab a coffee on the move. I often grab a morning coffee here if I have a meeting I need to rush to. The service is rapid, You’ve barely said the words Flat White before you have one in your hand. This is a big Costa with plenty of comfy seating and nooks and crannies you can do Skype calls in without being disturbed. As it’s right at the entrance of Victoria Square you can do some people watching too. Only downside is they only offer 30 minutes free Wifi and with Starbucks only a short walk through Victoria Square they to struggle to compete.
