I’ve only been a few times, and they were literally when it opens first thing in the morning for my «post walk indulgent totally contradictory treat» lol! Therefore I can’t comment on the service as me and my walking partner were the only ones there. Saying that, the staff behind the counter were very nice, had a wee chat with us about their locally baked biscuits when he are delicious! Had a caramel latte… a personal fav of mine, so when they’re nice I’m happy… and I was def happy!

Attached to the Hunting Lodge, Maple Moose serves crepes, deserts and ice cream. It also has hot food options, like paninis etc.
To be honest, the ice cream is a bit hit and miss and although you might hear people exclaim about their ‘mix in’ milkshakes, it’s not any better than any other place that does these type of chocolate bar mash up milkshakes and it can be quite pricey.
It’s nice to have another ice cream parlour in this side of town, but could do better.
