You see what they did with the name there? Clever isn’t it?
Admittedly this is the sort of place people walk past unless they actually can’t walk anymore without food. I have been here a few times because it is a genuinely nice and tasty little restaurant. It is casual, not very expensive, homely and the sort of place you go for some tea and chip sandwiches. Very good.
The problem I have with it is that there seems to be no effort made whatsoever to promote it. They have offers stuck up on the window printed from someone’s computer at home. The food is really good but it’s not been marketed at all. They don’t even have a website. It’s a great shame.
I’ve had everything from frys to lasagne, tea to milkshakes (they are amazing btw) and the staff, though they look like they hate their job, do try to feign plesantries. The décor is awful but if they made a bit more effort, it could be special.
