Sometimes it’s easy to forget just how nice a warm chippy can be on a cold day. Whether it be a sausage supper or Golden battered and fried cod, it’s hard to beat the taste of high quality chip shop.
Raffos is a great stop in the andersonstown road for anyone looking for a nice cheap and no effort meal.
We’ve all been there right? Long day at work, tired, hungry, and in no shape to start a culinary task. Luckily Raffos have started a delivery service so you won’t even need about making the journey to queue for your food. (And on most days you will be queuing)
Not too greasy and well cooked, don’t think there is much more you can ask for than that.

As chippies go (or are they called ‘hot food bars’ these days?), this one is pretty good. Usual chippy food (see Kelstar and Red Barn reviews), but this place has actually won awards for its fish and chips.
You know when a chippy is doing something well when they are full of customers from 5pm til about 6:30pm — it wouldn’t be unusual to see 15 or so customers in the shop at any time over this period. Pity they don’t deliver.
