Hmmm, I see my fellow Unilocaler is not a huge fan. I think I know why — Ruby Tuesdays’ best food is served as lunch or brunch. The newer premises are completey different to the original and I think somehow and completely irrationally that I preferred the older down at heel place. So the food? I am a big fan of the concept of brunch — breakfast is too early and brunch means you drop one meal of the day and therefore save calories. Even if you have a fry and desert. It’s a scientific fact. Breakfast at Ruby Tuesdays won’t completely blow you away but you will enjoy it. There is a good range on offer — pancakes, bagels, French toast and fries. I am a creature of habit and always have bacon pancakes and maple syrup but I have looked at the full Ulster fry going past and on piled plates and it does look really good. Maybe one day I will throw caution to the wind and order one. Can I get a side order of bacon pancakes and maple syrup with that? Don’t think the OJ is freshly squeezed which is which is why I have given 3 stars and not 4. I mean, you can have Tropicana at home in your dressing gown, right?
