Went into here and it was packed, waited around 5 – 10 mins for a seat, got a seat bang in the middle with not much room especially with a baby we needed more room for the buggy, I ordered sweet potato fries for my 19 month old son and I got burger in pitta and my husband got chicken noodle stir fry, well the sweet potato fries literally burnt my mouth off with a ton off pepper on them I clearly told the girl who served us they were for the baby, I wouldn’t have gave my baby those so I sent them back then they came back with wedges which were ok, my burger n pitta was nice, but quite small for almost £7, my husbands stir fry was as he put it completely flavourless and extremely overpriced, all meals overpriced in our opinion, I would be in two minds as to whether to go back here or not.

This is free porridge week!!!
You can have two toppings. I chose honey and raspberry. Needed some honey to sweeten it. Raspberry’s are not fresh. Perhaps frozen as they oozed with juice. I expected seeing this was a fresh healthy food place that they would be fresh.
Porridge was a good size portion. Though waited over 20 mins for it and the shop was practically empty. I thought this was the sort of place you could grab a quick healthy meal. Perhaps not it seems.
£3 for a small orange juice …saw them bring the Tesco value cartons in.
Staff are not too helpful.

After one visit, I’m already feeling slimmer!
Brand spanking new store in the heart of the Belmont village. Slims Healthy Kitchen isn’t a new concept, as they have stores in South Belfast and the City Centre.
We visited on Saturday lunch time, so there was a queue out the door. It’s worth noting that this place does takeaway so the queue was made up of people wanting to collect stuff. Within 5mins we were seated.
The interior is fresh and bright, with a great atmosphere. The menu is pretty impressive with something for everyone. I ordered the Chicken Burger and a side of sweet potato fries. Soft drinks are BOTTOMLESS, I love this! A restaurant that doesn’t charge you £3 for a bit of syrup and carbonated water.
The service was great too and with pleasant staff it was a great all round visit. This place was a real surprise and I’m delighted it’s on my doorstep! Yay!
