Spar

In an ideal world, I would only go to shiny glamorous shops but there are times when even the most fabulous of us have to do functional stuff and that’s when the Spar at Ballyhackamore is my port of call.
I can tick off so many of those boring but essential jobs here. Petrol — check. Post Office for stamps etc — check. Subway for a lunch on the go — check. Grocery section for last minute milk and an emergency Diet Coke — check. Urgent toilet stop for the kids — check. Christmas tree — check, yes really.
How can you not love a one stop shop like this? I always feel super organised and on top of things when I’ve done all my errands here. And there’s even a cash machine so that I can take out money and get on with going to shiny glamorous shops.
PS I believe you can but dirty heavy things like coal and logs here too but that’s what the husband is for!
