This shop is at the higher end of the price range. It’s a shop which sells designer gear and is generally aimed at older ladies. There are a number of branches of this shop in various locations and like the others; this branch seems to do a fair bit of custom. The clothes aren’t really to my taste, but I’m not in their target market and I do know that it is quite popular with the likes of my mum and my aunts etc. I’ve been in here a fair few times when my mum is after some new piece to add to her already extensive clothing collection, and the staff are generally very pleasant, the shop is well laid out and always clean, tidy and easy to navigate around. Bearing all these positives in mind it’s easy to see why the shop is so popular with female shoppers. Maybe when I’m older I will appreciate it more.

I’ve always viewed Wallis as a shop for older women, never seeing myself as mature enough to wear the clothes never mind look good in them. Though if you actually go past the sensible and professional exterior you may be surprised. It’s a great shop for colours, from mustard to purple, classic monochrome to velvety green, all colours under one roof. The styles are mostly classic with some unique and quirky designs for more daring types. The fashion ranges from smart pieces for work wear to casual pieces for shopping, meeting friends or recreational activities. The best thing about this store is the key pieces that they do especially for weddings or highly dressed up occasions such as black tie dinners. These garments are usually more expensive than the other styles in store however they are of such a high standard, great washing and last for ages. The store is well presented with lots of space to browse without the spaces looking to empty.

As I have said in other reviews, I am a male, a boy, a man or whatever you want to call me. With this in mind, it has to be said that this place is not for me at all, as in it sells women’s clothes.
But that is not to say that I have not been in here before as I have. I have went in with my mum, my sisters and even a couple of ex-​girlfriends and to be honest I have not been particularly impressed with very much of it.
The staff were ok, but by no means world beating. The stock they carry isn’t particularly nice either. On a good point, the shop itself is nice, with plenty of light and is quite a nice place to be.
Other than that, this place is pretty far from being the best place to pick up female clobber.
