YOUnity

YouNity Belfast is a week long celebration of culture, media, arts, music and most of all peace in East Belfast. The festival will run from Wednesday 15 — Tuesday 21 September 2010. There are a number of free events being held in the east of the city in the lead up to international peace day a.k.a. World Peace Day which is on Tuesday 21 September 2010. The festival will culminate in an International Day of Peace event held on 21^st September at Belfast Metropolitan College, Castlereagh Campus. The other events include; live music concerts, a multimedia music and radio project for musicians in East Belfast, the creation of a peace day mosaic, a global drum event These are all free events.
Beyond Skin in partnership with Unite Against Hate and Belfast Metropolitan College have developed the first ever YOUnite week as part of the Belfast East creative legacies programme.
