Formerly da Scalzo, the brothers Scalzo have rebranded their Belgravia restaurant as Sicily. In a converted school, the cavernous restaurant has two mezzanines and a bar. We had lunch there recently, and the food on the daily lunch menu was excellent, and with very generous portions. After a starter of calamari dusted and deep fried with salt and chilli, I moved on to chargrilled pork ribs with fennel sausage and pancetta mash — lovely porky charred flavour. Then a whopping slice of tiramisu. The set menu is £13.50 for two courses. With prosecco, coffee our three course meal for four was £114 — pretty good value. Strongly recommended.
