We had drinks here for my sister’s hen night so I can’t speak to the food. Every other time we tried to eat here it was packed so I was surprised we were able to snag a table. Due to its popularity the place is very loud. We ordered cocktails at the bar but it took the bartender forever to make them. (Evidently only one guy was making drinks and he seemed a bit new.) The first to get their drinks had finished before the last of us got drinks. That said the cocktails were good and they had some drinks I had never seen before. We only stayed for one drink due to the noise level.
I might return for lunch sometime (the food menu looked good) if I could get a table.

Quite a decent pub in Beverley, chain pub but don’t let that put you off. The food is decent, it’s pretty nice since being refurbished a few years back, and the beer is fine, although perhaps not the cheapest.

If you like a typical managed chain pub with plastic food and cocky staff then this is your place. A big spend on a refurb looks nice and shiny but papers over the cracks if you are used to quality and service. Its probably at the better end of chain pubs but an insult to your taste buds food-wise. A reasonable drinks selection but where do they get those prices from? Peroni @ £4.50! Thats 90p per pint dearer than The Cornerhouse!!! For a pub owned by the brewery that operates it that borders on criminal. Vote with your feet, there are much better offerings in Beverley and Hull.
