The Cut Price Bookstore

Hubby loves this shop and if not careful will spend a fortune. It always has some good bargains and all books are new and in excellent condition. The shop is a little small and can be cramped at times. This shop is in the centre of the shopping in Beverley and the area is bustling on Saturdays.

As its name suggests, this shop specialises in selling cut-​price new books and you can pick up some real bargains here just so long as you are not looking for the latest releases. There is a nice range of childrens’ books and an excellent range of cookery books, often in hardback. There is also a modest paperback and hardback fiction range as well as biography and history. Upstairs is a smaller room with various non-​fiction titles and a small selection of poetry books.
This is definitely a shop for browsing. It’s unlikely to have exactly what you are looking for (although I have been pleasantly surprise on occasions) but I defy you not to find something here worth having.
It’s open on Sundays and deservedly busy.
