Papa John’s

We had a free coupon to order from. We usually order from Belvedere branch which has been excellent but for some reason we could only order from Welling. When we got out email it showed the wrong item on it so we called and explained the situation that we needed to swap the wedges that were ordered for the poppers that were supposed to be on the order. This caused so much of a hassle that after a 15 minute useless conversation we stayed with the wedges. They couldn’t simply swap the item because it was cooking (1 minute after the order was places) then we were told the whole order would have to be refunded and re ordered but of course we couldn’t use the same coupon. It was an unnecessary waste of time and I will now not order from Papa Johns again. Thanks for nothing.

I ordered two pizzas from Papa John’s in Welling as their website indicated this was the closest location to me. When I phoned the store after an hour and 15 minutes, they said the order was 3 – 5 minutes away. Twenty minutes later when i called they said it was 2 minutes away. Two hours after placing the order I called back and they again said it was only 2 minutes away. I asked to cancel the order as i was lied to twice, then was left on hold for 5 minutes while the person I spoke to took other calls (phone was only set down, no hold actually initiated).
Again, I asked for a full refund and to cancel the order. The person I was speaking with said it couldn’t be done until his boss got in between 11:30pm and 12:30am tonight. This is ridiculous as I work and am not up that late. The gentleman that began to make excuses and even offered the order for £10 as the driver was «on his way». Again, I asked for a refund and to cancel the order and was told that the boss would call me back in 10 minutes, which never happened.
I expected a full refund as no service was by the store in Welling. Needless to say, this experience has been very frustrating and irritating. I’ve been a Papa John’s customer for many years both here and in the States and can say that I will not be a customer going forward after this experience.
