Asda Stores

Ah, I mean, it’s okay. For the average weekly shop, this ASDA has a wide range of fruit and veg, a decent sized alcohol section, the freezer section is huge and the prices are consistently low and I pay less than I do anywhere else in Bexleyheath for food.
I can’t figure out how it’s organised though. Most supermarkets follow a standard set up. You enter to fruit and veg, the yogurt is next to the milk and it all makes sense as you walk around. This place has two entrances which confuses everything. The street entrance takes you straight into the freezer section, which makes everything in your basket cold and slightly damp by the time you’ve finished your shop. The carpark entrance takes you into the fruit and veg bit but the layout means you walk straight into a group of tills and the queue for the cigarettes. Confusing.
Staff helpfulness can vary too. Sometimes I ask for help and they take me right to it and give me details on when they’ll get more in stock if they don’t have it. More often than not, though, I’m greeted with a blank stare and a shrug, or a muttered ‘We don’t fillet that. You have to do it.‘
Parking takes up two levels and usually a pound will cover it, refundable at the till (as in, taken off your bill, not given back to you so if you save pound coins like I do, bad luck). The location is also bang in the middle of Bexleyheath town centre so it doubles up as cheap parking for general shopping.

A very large store, staff are polite and helpful, its ALWAYS BUSY, tills are slow, its not as well organized as say Sainsbury, it has a good world foods section, meat, fish and fresh food section not as good as Sainsbury, nor is fruit and veg section either. The only areas Asda is better than Sainsbury, in my opinion, is World food sections and frozen food sections.
Parking is large over two levels, trolleys are a pound, and parking ticket is also charged, but refundable at till.

The Asda in Bexleyheath is not a huge store but it stocks everything you could want. The non-​foods range is good especially the DVDs and the clothes. The baby clothes are very reasonably priced and the mens underwear is good quality (or so my husband tells me!).
As for the food. There is a good choice often with some really good offers and many products are priced at £1.
The only problem is that they often have availability issues.

this Asda is brilliant and has good parking facility and a toilet and baby change area that Is spacious.
the shop over all I think needs more staff, exampple we would go to buy a Indian meal or pizza meal that you creat and more oftn then not we would be waiting ages for staff, other then that can’t really fault it !!

A good asda with plenty of parking which is free for disabled up to 4 hours, right in the middle of the Broadway so good for parking for all the shops. Disabled scooter loan and wheelchairs if needed, good electrical dept, music, dvds, clothes and food. Disabled loos.
