A really conveniently situated restaurant on route too and from north wales, as its two minutes from the main road. There aren’t many great restaurants in the area so it’s worth giving this one a try! The large car park that was almost full on a Thursday lunchtime is a good sign! The dining room is large, well lit and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The menu is fairly classic –a selection of burgers, pasta dishes, grilled meats, fish and veggie options. There is also a salad bar which you can help yourself at. Again, there is a reasonable selection, but nothing exciting. I went for the sizzling duck dish and it’s one of my favourite meats and I don’t often get to have it! I thought it was well cooked and the fries too were very nice. My friend had Shropshire Blue linguine which was tasty but the portion size enormous! Consequently we didn’t have room for dessert!;) I found it hard to decide between ¾ stars. I think if the food was slightly more refined it would get that extra star.
