Atoo

Like many of my friends, I have only recently been informed of Atoo recently, otherwise being totally oblivious to the menswear store.
Atoo is one of the only places throughout Birmingham that I would describe as a mens boutique. Directed towards men aged between their early twenties — early thirties, Atoo provides a welcome mixture of different styles that compliment a more mature gentlemen.
Offering a variety of brands including Levis, Atoo attracts a variety of different men, with a fairly open range of pricing, able to appeal to the majority of people that visit the shop.
With an array of lesser known brands also available, Atoo has something for everyone and worth a look, even if only a quick one whilst in town.

A great find, this. I wasn’t aware of Atoo until late last year when, waiting until dark to enjoy the German market in all its glory, myself and some friends indulged in some window-​shopping and came across its great selection of mens’ clothes.
If you often find yourself visiting the nearby Urban Outfitters or often log on to ASOS to kit yourself out with some new clothes, then Atoo should appeal. It will mainly appeal to fashion-​conscious twentysomethings and up thanks its nice blend of street-​smart and urban chic offerings, while its selection of recognisable labels means the store may be independent in spirit but has the goods you know and love.
So, if you find your style veers between trendy and alternative, you’d be hard-​pressed to find a better store in the city. From Adidas Originals and vintage Levi jeans to more underground labels, you’re sure to look and feel great in whatever you go for. Beware though, the shop doesn’t stock a huge amount of the same item, so look to the similarly cool website if your size is out.

This outlet is lovely and offers a unique feel to a menswear store.
They offer a mix of everything from tops, t-​shirts, funky jumpers, trainers and backpacks! What I liked was I was free to browse around without being pushed by sales type staff. Although they are friendly and let you know that they are there if you need help, you don’t feel that you are constantly being watched.
The fashion is nice and appealing, but also fresh. They even have a Levi’s Vintage collection! What I really liked is that they have a guitar in the window, but this wasn’t for sale. Ha ha.
If your after something fancy for yourself, or a brother or male friend/​family, best to try here first. Overall a nice outlet with some unique and different pieces for men of all ages.

This place is a bit of a hidden gem for fashion lovers. Stocks some of the more underground yet über cool brands. You’ll spend a months wages in a visit but you’ll also feel the nuts!

Bit of an alternative trendy shop. Really nice and stylish, sells stuff like adiddas originals, stussy, acne jeans etc, more of an urban version to autograph next door. Very unique shop with only a few of one garmet so dont really have to worry about seeing other people in the same item!
