I purchased over 10,000 pounds of home improvements from B&Q in Castle Vale for my kitchen and bathroom renovation in Moseley Birmingham. Nearly every appliance had an issue from the beginning and I was stuck in limbo-​land as B&Q blamed the manufacturer and the manufacturer blamed B&Q. I GOT THE RUN AROUND FOR WEEKS AND WEEKS.
I FINALLY received a replacement 50⁄50 Fridge from the manufacturer for a unit that was faulty from day one. However, because it was a built-​in fridge, it sat in the middle of my kitchen for weeks as I fought with B&Q and the manufacturer about who would install it back into the built-​in cabinetry which I bought from B&Q. There it still sits – both claiming it’s ‘not their responsibility’.
I will NEVER buy from B&Q again and I suggest EVERY BUYER BEWARE OF THEIR SLIPPERY CUSTOMER SERVICE TACTICS. Once you’re out the door with their products – good luck!
