Friendly café with a lovely owner. My office is round the corner so I’ve only been for lunch but the sandwiches and jacket potatoes are good, not a huge range of fillings but do you really need anything more than cheese, beans or tuna mayo?! The owner bakes her own cakes(which taste like heaven) and has happily whipped up a quick batch of brownies at a moments notice when we’ve had last-minute catering issues at work. A gem.

Took my dad and brother here for a fry up. Sharon is so welcoming. The fry up was lush. Beautiful black pudding and tea on tap. Really set us up for a long day :) My favourite local breakfast café

Nicely placed between a greasy spoon and the hard rock café. This place does exactly what it says on the tin and the owner Sharon is the perfect remedy for any Sunday morning blues you may be experiencing. Pop in for a coffee or chow down on a breakfast burrito and try painfully to piece together the night before in this proper café.

This is the best place for a fry up or light lunch! The menus varied enough to suit everyone. The meats halal and there’s plenty of it! It’s worth going just to have a chat with the owner. She’s funny as hell and nothing is ever too much trouble. She also makes her own cakes. Get the lemon drizzle whilst it’s still warm. It’s honestly the best lemon drizzle I’ve ever had!!!

I found this place one hungover Saturday and it is now the only place I have fry ups! The owner looks after you like a surrogate mother. It is priced very well and she always looks after me with a cheeky cookie or a slice of her amazing bread and butter pudding! She even made me a special cheesecake for my girlfriends birthday! If you are in the mood for a chat and some food this is the best place in brum!
