Delicieuse Baguette is a friendly little sandwich shop located just off New Street. They offer tasty, simple food at reasonable prices and have seating both indoors and out(when the weather suits). Definitely worth dropping in if you’re in the area and want something quick and filling for lunch. I noticed recently that Subway have opened yet another outlet almost next door to this independent eatery, which is a shame as they’re bound to lose at least some custom. At the same time, however, it boggles the mind that there is any need for a Subway here, especially as there is another one not thirty metres around the corner near the New Street ramp. I’m going to side with the underdog on this one, and hope the fact that both the quality and value for money of their sandwiches are very good will help them to tough it out in the face of big-name competition.
