We were asked to vacate our property two weeks earlier than planned, as we had found a new place and FleetMilne had new tenants who wanted to move in before we left on our contract end date. FleetMilne asked for the keys back 8 days before, the 20th, because they were closed over xmas for a few days, and that due to this we’d still have to pay the rent until the 28th when the new tenant moved in. So we’d have paid over £300 for an appartment that we can not get access to, and because FleetMilne were closed, even though they asked us to vacate earlier. You are asked if it is ok for them to come round and inspect or show propective tenants round. When you say no, like i did, i had a telephone interview at that time. They say Its ok, we wont be long, you wont know were there Whats the point of even asking? I had to do my telephone interview on the bench in the front of the building. Meant to be managed, asked to get our sauna repaired and they just told me to contact the mangement company they use, so i co-ordinated the repair of a sauna, athough Dave is exceptional with repairs inside teh flat. I have used Fleetmilne twice now, the 1st time was excellent, the 2nd time, was horrendous The reason we left was FleetMilne. I will never use them again.
