This branch of Greggs is pretty good but service can be strangely slow, hence the middlin’ score, but their products are fine and the prices very keen. Following the refurb in 2014 it’s much better laid out and you can even sit in now(at extra charge). I really don’t know why things are so slow. People order stuff that isn’t time consuming to sort and most of what they sell is pre prepared and ready to go after all. There needs to be a prioritisation of till service when there’s more than 2 – 3 people waiting. Staff just need to pay attention and be willing to muck in and serve. If they did that then it’d be a nicer place to go to. As is, I’m often just stood along with several others while one person slowly works through.

Évaluation du lieu : 3 Birmingham, United Kingdom
Looking at the old photo on this listing has kicked me into gear to get a «post-facelift» photo! I don’t think an area of Birmingham would be quite complete without a Greggs. It’s a common complaint in London and the south that you can’t walk five meters down the street without spotting a Starbucks… I swear, sometimes in Birmingham I think it’s getting that way with Greggs. This branch has been here as long as I can remember. Situated along the little row of shops(which offer a betting shop, a Subway, a Tesco, a chippy and a chicken shop), this place seems to be the saviour of the builders which are constantly in here at lunchtime and the morning. In terms of a Greggs, it’s ok. As previously mentioned, it got a bit of a facelift when«Gregg’s cafes» started popping up elsewhere and now looks pretty fresh and clean. It offers the usual stuff you might expect(sandwiches, pastries and the like) at pretty decent prices. It does quite a good bacon sarnie and coffee deal in the morning(which comes in at a whopping £1.50 or something). In terms of service, the staff are pretty mixed here. Depending on who’s on the counter and the time of day, you’ll either get greeted with a friendly smile or a grumpy scowl, but again… It’s Greggs. What do you expect? If you’re a fan(or even visited a branch before), you’ll know exactly what you’re getting with your Greggs experience. Half decent(non-healthy) grub, hot drinks, snacks and sarnies(now soup too!) at a cost which isn’t going to break the bank. Greggs may not rock your world, but it does do a pretty mean cheese and bean slice… and sometimes that’s just what the doctor ordered.
