Been here quite a few times I just love Molly’s café. Really good breakfast great service and good prices. If there’s something you don’t like on your breakfast they will swap it for free! If your eggs are over done will do it again not that I have ever had a problem. One of the best cafes been too will continue to go to to. :)

Been here many times, they do a excellence Irish breakfast– black and white pudding soda bread sausages and potato cakes. Very busy in morning and not many tables so you may have to have a take away and if the weather’s nice you can a munch away at King’s Norton park.

I’ve been coming to Molly’s for about 13 years and during that time it hasn’t really changed. Molly’s is a good, old fashioned café with a lovely view over the historic Kings Norton Green. There is nothing pretentious or over the top about Molly’s, it’s simply a café that serves amazing food at reasonable prices. It’s always busy and I have friends that travel across the city just for breakfast. The food is really good; from a simple bacon sarnie to pie and mash. I love the Irish breakfasts as it comes with potato cakes and soda bread. They only use really thick doorstop bread for sandwiches or there is granary or baguettes for an extra cost. Everything can be ordered to take away too. I pretty much lived in Molly’s when I was doing my A-levels at the college round the corner. The staff and the café are warm, friendly and inviting. Molly’s is a great place to spend a winter morning with a hot mug of proper tea and tasty plate of food.

Would be 5 stars but that’s only reserved for perfection. I have to say though, great food, super service and fair prices. It can get a little cramped on a busy day but if you can grab a table you’d find it hard to beat.

I thought that i had written a review for Molly’s before but cant see it so here goes. Molly’s is a proper old fashioned type café serving all manner of cooked breakfasts, sandwiches, lunches etc. It has parking at the rear(although you can usually get parked somewhere on The Green) and has about 8 or 9 tables for 4 people. It gets extremely busy at lunchtimes — to be expected because of its quality reputation. The food is really good, well cooked and a fair price. The staff are incredibly happy and chatty and cant do enough to help. Oh and proper MUGS of tea. Win. They also do free delivery within 3 miles for orders of £8 which im guessing is quite popular with the local offices as im always seeing the Molly’s vans round and about. Ive knocked one star off(i wish i could just take off half a star…) because their website is really quite rubbish. I wanted to link to it to show you the menu(as i was too busy scoffing my food and reading the paper to take loads of photos for you) but there are no menus, no photos nothing. Come on Mollys its 2014 — get someone to do you a good website!!!

Its been a few years since I’ve popped into Molly’s Café and I must say I am glad I did. I was greeted warmly and my order taken whilst I took a seat at a table. In no time my sandwich was brought to me all freshly made and wrapped to go. It was huge. Doorstep fresh granary rammed with carved ham, cheese and all the salad. It was not the same sat eating it at my desk but it surely was delicious. Good price and variety! Worth a visit guys if your that side of town.

Ah — who doesn’t love Molly’s? With a name like Molly’s, you know you’re going to get a friendly, independent little café that takes pride in what it produces. And that’s exactly what you get at Molly’s in Kings Norton. No fuss, no fancy pants gimmicks — just good, down to earth quality grub. And coffee. They do great coffee — I had a particularly nice cappuccino last time I went(which was this morning!), which pleased me a lot — you never know what you’re going to get sometimes… But here, you get really good coffee, and really good food, by the looks of things. For a relatively small café there seems to be a lot of choice in terms of food — including healthy options, which can be rare if not in a specialised café. The breakfasts, I’ve heard, are particularly good. The staff were really friendly and I could have quite happily just hunkered down there for the rest of the day. A lovely place on the Green to relax enjoy good quality food and drink.

I came into this café after having a browse around the green one morning and was dying for a coffee. I really liked the look of the café from the outside and inside was even better. The walls are decorated with canvases of cities such as New York and Rome and smaller canvases of coffees and other drinks. The menu is presented on a blackboard behind the counter and the tables and chairs are simplistic. What I love about this place, is that it is not trying to be anything other than a simple little coffee shop. I had a cappuccino and a cheese sandwich, both of which were very nice. The staff were very pleasant too and the whole place had a happy atmosphere about it, even the customers seemed happy and smiley. I like this place and will definitely return, it is a wonderful place to go for a coffee or a bit of lunch as they serve a variety of hot and cold sandwiches, baguettes and jacket potatoes. A great place!
