Mono

I have been a regular at Mono Bar for years, and the reason? Guaranteed fantastic music that only gets better as the night goes on! They specialise in RnB, soul and hip-​hop, which varies from the 80s onwards. And it goes on until 3am!
It’s a compact bar/​club that is always packed, which is testament to how good it is! It was revamped a couple of years ago, which is very-​much welcomed! The owners have gone for a dark, chic look with bling chandeliers and windows behind the bar area where dancers entertain you as you wait for your drink! Very Moulin Rouge!
The bar tends to get very busy and there never seems to be enough staff, which is frustrating. They have an outdoor seating/​smoking area. There is also seating inside, which I think should be minimised at the weekends to accommodate all those keen to dance, like me!

Can be good music on weekends and that im sorry to say is the only positive
If seeing gangster wanna bes with supposed gold chains around their neck stand around with the same beer bottle all night (occasional toilet trip to fill it up with water) and the ghetto chicks with fat behinds who cant match clothes for shit OHH and lets not forget the wiggas who have left their mixed race kid at home with the grandma, while they go find another «babys father to be» THEN THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!
I dont know how this place makes money considering nobody buys drinks but i guess the cover charge of £5 makes up for the loss.

AVOID THIS PLACE and go to Indi Bar instead. Seriously. I was enraged that they decided to shove my mates sober girlfriend out for thinking that she was stumbling and then decide to turn on me and my mate for sticking up for her. The manager just stood aside and said if i had a complaint i should email them. Great management. This place reeks of faeces right from the the retarded bouncers, the dimwitted manager, the extortionate drink prices and the dull atmosphere.

Located Birmingham’s Arcadian centre, Mono has fast become a favourite with the chic crowd of the city. The stylish décor and ambience allows relaxation by day and a truly vibrant one off bar experience by night. For any occasion Mono is the place for great drinks, great food and more importantly great fun.
Bar staff are fun and friendly but not much with the convo beacuse it is always busy in there.
Warning that occasionally fights do break out but it is dealt with quickly, calmy and smoothly.
