Something positive at the beginning: Fine WiFi is reported to be only in common areas, but there was no problem to use it all around the house. But on to more important matters: If the receptionist were even more incompetent, they would have to be locked in an asylum. Unwilling, with no organization capability. By the way, the ground-floor rooms have no windows — and are so small that two adults and a larger bag can´t fit in — no kidding. I wanted to take a snap, but I would have to move back a little and there was nowhere to go :( Něco pozitivního na úvod: Kvalitní wifi je hlášena jen ve společných prostorech, ale je bez problémů po celém domě.

Tiny room, perfect just for sleeping and changing. Super comfortable beds. Clean and on the modern side. Really friendly and helpful staff. Nice little bar downstairs. Great price, great location. Just a few minutes on foot to the beautiful library and Barclaycard Arena.

I loved this hotel. It is a conveniently located, clean, budget hotel that is excellent for short stays. My room had no windows and was the size of a walk in closet, but was right for the price. Though small, I was very comfortable. The room felt very reminiscent of the hotels I have stayed at in Tokyo-clean, simple, TINY. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

When I heard about this hotel, I was expecting it to be a nice little hotel and to be fair I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a little haven for the city and I still speak to a few people who’ve never heard of the place; which is always a shocker. Their rooms are nicely decorated and they have all the essentials necessary to make a great night stay. I like the size of the rooms, their great for short night stays. Nite Nite has some modern features which provide a quirky factor to the hotel. What’s fabulous about the hotel is that most things are complimentary to your room fee; such as the wi-fi and movie channels. In most hotels you won’t get this, you have to pay for any added extra such as wireless network. This is why I’d recommend this hotel to savvy professionals and those who would like a little chic with all the right amenities.

Nite Nite is an unexpected treat in the centre of Birmingham — perfect for a one or maybe two night stay — though the pod-size rooms are not really designed for stays that are much longer than that. It really feels like you’re in a spaceship, when you use the glowing wallpad to determine room temperature, and lighting arrangements(full light, under bed light, around window cove light, no light???) and if you start to feel claustrophobic you can snuggle down into the fluffy duvet and switch on the TV and watch from a camera positioned on the roof. Sounds boring, but it’s surprisingly relaxing, and reassuring to find out what the outside weather is like if your room has no window! Small touches that I love: free Wifi! Free mineral water! Free movie channels! Super cheap Sunday deals on occasion — which I’ve made the most of on bank holiday weekends to have a bit of a loud and raucous Sunday night out partying in the city!
