I think that this is a fairly good pet store and I have popped in a couple of times to pick up some cat biscuits. They seem to have a good range of food and treats inside and they always seem to be quite busy. This is probably the best place in Cotteridge for your pet needs and a good, independent alternative to the larger, chain pet outlets like Pets at Home and the like. The bloke that runs it is very helpful and is happy to order in anything for you that he doesn’t currently carry in stock. I asked about the Nature Diet brand of wet dog food that our dogs prefer and he was happy to order in and sell me a box. A 15Kg breeders pack of dry dog food, which he did have in stock, was £11, which is very competitive when compared against the expense and hassle of driving out to a retail park and visiting a larger store, where you might get it for a pound or so cheaper.
The last time I went in to the shop they were having issues with their phone line, so if you ring the number it might be dead, but the shop is very much alive and well worth a visit if you have dogs, cats or other super furry animals.
