Whilst me and my son are not regular visitors to this playgroup, we have nevertheless been on one or two occasions, usually when our usual playgroup is cancelled for whatever reason. This is our Plan B!
Normally with groups that are fairly established it’s quite hard to get involved, especially when you don’t go that often, but we’ve always been made welcome. My son enjoys playing with the toys provided, and has a really good time during the songs and stories. It makes a nice change to do something like this, rather than going to Hickory Dickories, or somewhere similar. If you have little ones, I’d recommend this one.

This is a great, really friendly little pre-school aged Stay & Play (or indeed Play & Stay as the case may be) run by Riverside Church, in Moseley. One of the new mums who I spoke to today said «It had a really lovely community feel and people had made a real effort to chat to her» which is lovely, and the way it should be.
There are always great cakes available, and plenty to play with, as well as singing and story activities. The parents are welcomed (there are quite a few dads who go as well, so its not all about yummy mummies sitting around gossiping) and the little ones have plenty to occupy them. Everyone’s a winner :)
