Relax In Style

This is the smallest furniture shop I’ve ever seen! There was just one small aisle for customers to walk down because the rest was filled with recliner chairs. As you can see in the picture there was a chair blocking the entrance so I must have looked a bit silly, trying to get in. There was no staff there, which was a bit worrying and what I consider to be bad customer service.
Based on their design and styles I’m guessing they were for seniors. You don’t get many furniture shops that specialise in recliner chairs (for seniors) so I thought that was nice. They have a wide range of styles. From chairs that heat up and recline to simple chairs. They also offer free home trials and the chairs are priced decently.
This shop definitely isn’t my style but I think it’s good for people who are looking for recliner chairs and seniors.

Another of Kings Heath’s many furniture and homeware shops, and another one that I seem incapable of passing without sticking my head in, just in case there is a really cool chair with my name on it. I must admit that 7 years of occasional visits to this store has yet to yield an amazing chair, but I live in hope.
The majority of the stock are large, easy chairs that old people watch telly in. Some have medical benefits, some have those fancy massage functions, some are recliners, and some are just plain, old armchairs. The armchair world is indeed a varied one, and having a place where you can get your TV watching chair sorted is a bonus for any High Street. Next time your favourite armchair gives up the ghost, you know where to go.

They are a small independent family run business with over 25 years experience in meeting customer’s needs.
There are over 200 chairs in stock available for immediate delivery, with friendly expert assistance and assessment in selecting the correct item of furniture. When I went in to enquire about a recliner they were most helpful.

I’ve got to say their selection doesn’t appeal to me in the slightest. It’s full of puffy leather clad recliners and sofas — the colour schemes mainly being cream, beige and black. I don’t ever intend to fill my house, much against my minimalist principles, with a gargantuan, cumbersome, designated derrière spot.
Anyway, the selection of chairs is broad, and the owners are very friendly. They gave me two huge cardboard boxes to incorporate into whatever pursuit I wished.
It’s a local chair store, essentially, specialising in a style of a particular kind — big comfy and a bit unattractive are the words that comes to my mind. The unattractive may just be subjective, so please have a look for yourself.
