Size

I know some people with some serious trainer addictions… I am not quite there yet but this place could definitely fuel the fire. If you are looking for unusual or limited addition trainers in the city centre this is the place for you.
The shop itself is kept in perfect order displaying the many trainers, hats and accessories on the walls and in the cabinets around the compact space. The staff here are all very well educated on everything they sell and are passionate about anything footwear.
If you are looking for some trainers that are that little bit different and advice from people in the know then take a visit to Size.

Whilst this is store is part of a UK chain of trainer stores, it is a small chain that is all about the high end, premium lines wherever possible.
This is one of the smallest of the Size stores across the country but they’ve managed to squeeze in a decent range of clothing amongst the trainers.
Clothing wise you can expect to find Obey, Carharrt, The Hundreds etc. Sneaker wise they stock Puma, Adidas Originals, Nikes, Vans etc. I feel the need to diversify the range of stock to have everything in one place for the brand snob to complete their look from the New Era caps, the latest premium Carharrt coat and the freshest Jordan’s has meant the range and curation of the trainer stock they get in has suffered some what. The staff are still super helpful but I fear they’ve lost the edge slightly in their market share through lack of effective stock selection. It’s always good to check out what they have as you never know but there are better places in the Midlands to trek to for the latest brands if you don’t fancy heading to London.

Whilst I love a pair of four-​inch heel leopard print stilettoes, I also find myself hopelessly drawn towards any trainers that declare themselves «limited edition». That’s why I often find myself gazing longingly at the rainbow coloured leather and suede beauties available at Size?.
They might brand themselves as a male orientated store, but let’s not forget that some men have small feet. Their loss is ladykind’s gain when it comes to getting our hands on rare Adidas Originals and Puma Classics. Most trainers are available in sizes 6+.
Size? is a smallish chain, but the Birmingham store manages to give the impression of being a very cool independent boutique. It is just off New Street and always has a cool atmosphere. I like to think of it as a mini museum of trainers.

This is a small, boutique training shoe (trainers) shop bang in the middle of the city centre, just off the pedestrianised part of New Street and close to The Shakespeare pub on Lower Temple Street.
I like shops that do one thing and do it well, and if you like trainers and take your time over which pair (or pairs!) you’re going for next, this is a good place to see what’s on offer. Most of the major brands are represented and the stock is always pretty much bang up to date.
The staff are helpful and friendly and even though this place could be a bit snobby, it isn’t. You may well leave with a big hole in your wallet because high-​end, branded trainers do not come cheap, and this being a boutique rather than a stack-​em-​high, sell-​em-​cheap outlet like some of the other high street sports stores means that there is very little in the way of a bargain. All in all, though, this place does exactly what it says on the tin.

Awsome shoes store. You need new trendy shoes I recommand you to go there. It is lot of new shoes and also collector shoes you will find anywhere else. Lots of choices but prices still a bit expensive.

I hadn’t shopped in Size? before but I was very impressed when I did. My favourite brand of trainer is New Balance as they are actually made in the UK and they’re really stylish and comfortable, and Size? is one of the few places in Birmingham that actually stock them.
They have a good range too, so I was able to get a new pair of New Balance without resorting to the internet, which is important as I like to actually try them on.
Size? is a compact little shop and it’s expensive but they have a good range of trainers which you won’t find elsewhere.

Not like I have large feet, but I did notice that they ha d a lot of ‘larger’ sizes of shoes that other shops do not normally stock. Great if you have this problem.
My absolute favourite pair of trainers EVER are from here, and they were on sale tooa great bargain! Never too busy, a good selection of trainers and many very colourful ones if you like to be bold and different.
The Size? makes a nice change and worth a look into just to see what they have on offer

This is the best footwear shop bar non in brum downstairs is strictly trainers, here you’ll find shoes you wont neccessarily find anywhere else. They also have an upstairs which sells adidas originals, lyle and scott and other cool brands, although they don’t hold a massive stock. As a trainer collectorLONG LIVE ADI DASSLER (i know it’s sad, but i do actually wear them), whenever i’m in the town centre i seem to be drawn to size? as if by a magnet, and leave with yet another pair of trainers. The staff are super friendly and helpful and i have found, there gear if you can find it in other shop’s is often cheaper. Size also has an online store to checkout where they have year round discounted lines. Highly recommended!

The Size? is my favourite footwear shop… The selection of cool trainers is amazing, you’re almost guaranteed to find more than one pair you’ll love. Most of the stuff they stock you can’t buy elsewhere, so you’ll always find something different. They also stock a small range of clothes, mainly tops, t-​shirts and jackets. Highly recommeded!!!
