Spice Buffet

This restaurant is another buffet on coventry road, outside impression very neat and tidy.
Before i carry on if you are doing major interior work like painting, carpentry and so forth you should close the restaurant, but for some reason they were open, as i was starving i decided how bad could it be?
Not good, noise level form the drill, sanding machine the stench of fresh paint and spirit will put anyone off.
Now service and food…
Dont want to be rude but the older lady who sat us down was lovely, nicely spoken and explained if we came here before… thats what you expect.
anyways we were asked to go up whenever ready…
The choice was limited from starters to main course, few customers made similar thought heard by complaing by the lack of choice.
this was a lunch meal when we went btw.
the food quality was okay, not a huge selection on the main but nice flavours and the desserts were good choc fountain and ice cream, yum.
the restaurant apart from the diy going on was clean.
like ive said before i dont get these multi cuisine buffets they should do a good variety or just do one type of cuisine.

Disappointing.
Toptable claimed this to be one of the best/​most popular Birmingham restaurants. In reality it was very average with a rather static selection of mains, poor quality desserts and rice that had a definite scent of disinfectant!
Save your money and go elsewhere.
