Typical Italian restaurant, food is very good service is like most places — friendly waiters etc. Variation of food, tastes great. All round nice place

Went here for a staff meal and we had been sent a set menu beforehand. There was only ONE option marked as V for vegetarian. However, it was NOT vegetarian because it contained Grana Padano cheese which is made using calf rennet and the vegetarians in the group were aware of this. I emailed Strada twice about this before we went but did not receive a reply. When we were there, they confirmed it was NOT vegetarian and thus there was no vegetarian option available so they said they would just make it without the cheese which we were not happy with as it was not a complete meal. They did make us a pizza as an alternative but marking a dish as vegetarian which isn’t is a huge mistake to make. The reason they are getting one star is because afterwards, we emailed Strada again to complain about them marking the dish with a V and we were ignored AGAIN. 3 times. Therefore a one-​star review is deserved and we shall not be returning.

Love the choice at Strada — huge menu to choose from with a wide variety of pastas, meats, fish dishes and pizzas. A big fan of both the ICC branch and the Mailbox branch; but this one’s got the edge because of the great location.

Standard Italian-​chain-​restaurant fare, perhaps a little more upmarket than say Ask or Pizza Express.
Fairly good value with a nice setting in the Mailbox. Decent lunchtime offers.
Probably the best of the chain restaurants in the immediate locality.

Strada is a uniquely styled restaurant in the central of Birmingham. If you like Italian food then you will love this place. They pride themselves on offering the finest and freshest ingredients in the area. I have to agree the pasta is very nice and the use the nicest olive oil, not quite the same as you get from your local supermarket. They offer a wide rage of Pizzas as well as pasta dishes. The restaurant is obviously popular because it seems to be full always, it is best to make a reservation if you are thinking of visiting at the weekend. The staff is polite and well mannered and the prices are surprisingly decent. I will be eating here again in December and I’m sue I will be happy with the food and service.
