A little hungover and on the verge of being hangry. We headed to get lunch at the Litten Tree. The one in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham is known as the litter tray which doesn’t fill me with much hope. It scored on price. Two main meals for £8 with upgrades available(Double chicken or changing the sides) It scored on location being two minutes from the blackpool seafront. The third star goes to relaxed daytime midweek atmosphere. I’d NEVER visit here at night and I’d avoid at the weekends as this area has a party reputation. My fish and chips with peas were fine. The fish was pretty big considering it worked out at £4 for the meal. The food seemed to take longer than we expected but not by much and sitting in the window without really going into the venue helped.

Anther good place to gather the troops before heading out in Blackpool for a night out! Also really good for live sports, watched several England internationals in here, always a great atmosphere! Drinks are reasonable but it can be a bit of a mission to get served at the bar they could probably do with more bar space as it is quite a short one for a venue of this size!

Great laugh in the evenings, great food in the day. Curry buffet a complete favourite. Always a good crowd when the music comes on, even if the DJ is a bit hit and miss.

Not the best pub in Blackpool someof the staff needed a lesson in manners, beer ok if from a bottle or you have a strong consituition.

Large pub on the popular Queen Street. Not sure what it’s like midweek, but at weekends it’s heaving with a really big mix of ages and people. Drinks are quite expensive with alcopops at about £3.40 each. There are loads of seats which is good and a wooden dancefloor with a DJ. It’s free in and open till about 12am. I think it’s a bit skanky but it’s alright for a couple of drinks to start your night.
