This place is an institution. It’s been around for decades and manages to produce faultlessly great fish and chips. They don’t just have cod and haddock but have a wider range of fish available. I always have the large cod. The fish is moist and very tasty, the batter is always just right, though you can have it lightly battered. Chips are equally good-firm and dry, not at all soggy. It seems to be open all hours so there is no excuse if visiting the Las Vegas if the North not to visit.

Place was good! I have not had too many fish and chips in my lifetime coming from the US (we only have H Salt Fish n Chips). Fried nicely, not too greasy, chips are nice and fat, peas were great! Nice staff.

Another place i used to come for my lunch when i worked just around the corner. Nice staff, and easy enough to get to. Slightly overpriced as chippys go but wont make your eyes fall out of your head.
