I stayed here for 2 nights while en route to my travel study program at Pembroke College during the Summer of 2011. I overslept one morning and so missed breakfast, but the lady was kind enough to offer some cereal and milk. The next morning I made sure to wake up early enough for breakfast and it was one of the most homely and welcoming breakfasts I’ve ever had the pleasure of dining on. This traditional english breakfast had sausage links, irish bacon, eggs overeasy, mushrooms, baked beans, hash browns, tomato slices, toast with butter, and some milk and juice. To say it was wonderful would be an understatement. In regards to the room — it was small, quaint, and very tidy. I was impressed with it and quickly settled in for my short stay. It had a comfortable bed, a flatscreen television in the corner, a European bathroom with a push-button operated shower, and power outlets to charge my geek devices. The staff was warm and welcoming, and I could not have had a better experience as a lone traveler passing through during my first time in England. I highly recommend Bramble Corner!
