Really needs updating. They don’t even have waste bins.

The Keel Row is a modern shopping centre in Blyth. It was built in 1991.(I got my first Saturday job in one of the shops!) It is small but contains a good range of shops Greggs, Superdrug WHSmith to name a few. There are a handful of benches in the middle around the statue but they are often occupied. It is usually clean and tidy. There is a large car park at the back of the centre which is free.

Small but great shopping centre which forms the heart of Blyth’s shopping area next to the market square. Stores include New Look, Wh Smith, Dorothy Perkins, Evans, Thorntons, three card shops, Adams, a health food store, Bön Marche, sports clothes store, shoe shop, electricals store, O2, flower shop, Superdrug and an independant accessories cart. There is a centre monument of a strong man with small seating area. Photo booth and childrens play area at car park entrance doorway. Nice collection of stores, plenty of bargains available. Reliable security staff.
