OK, so it’s 3-plus years since we’ve used these people (we got a cake made for the christening of our younger lad, now aged 3); but we also used them for our wedding cake back in 2000 and for some special birthdays since then too. In short, we’d never go anywhere else for a celebratory cake. Their cakes are always amazingly creative — you only need to drop into their shop to appreciate that — and believe me, they taste superb. The staff are friendly and helpful and I remember thinking at the time that the prices were very reasonable — although whether that’s still the case I couldn’t say. All in all, well worth exploring if you’re in the market for a special cake.
