Scan Computers are the very definition of first class service and support. They have a great range of products and their staff sure do know the score. I recently ordered the parts for my new Computer from them, but had an issue with the Motherboard. After a short diagnostic chat over the phone, I was told I’d be sent a return number and the board would be collected for testing and replacement. No more than 15 minutes later I had all the information I needed to repack and return the part. It was collected the following day by their courier inside the 1 hour timeslot they had quoted me, and had been tested and a replacement sent in a couple of days, so in a 7 day timeslot, I had a motherboard delivered, sent back, tested and a brand new one on my desk. Result! Or so I thought. The new mobo had a problem too, so once again it was returned. I phoned Scan and asked if the second replacement board could be checked over before being sent out, which they agreed to without hesitation (and at no extra cost to me). 6 days after sending back the second faulty unit I had a lovely new board turn up, all checked over and working perfectly, and I know the board was checked over because they even updated the bios for me. Now, there is NO WAY on earth that I’m going to blame Scan for this mishap because it was, of course, a fault of the manufacturer. I’m just trying to illustrate in this review the level of their customer service. I’ve honestly never experienced anything like it before. Computer parts can be expensive, and I’m sure people want their hard earned going to someone they can trust. Scan Computers in my opinion offers a service that is second to none. You are kept updated at all stages of your order process, the prices are competitive the turnaround fast, and if there are any mishaps along the way, these guys will fall over themselves to get you sorted and keep the inconvenience to a minimum. Hands down the best company I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with by a loooooooooooong way.

You can pay top prices for quality Items and lower prices for budget ones. I have bought many of the budget Items and they often outshine.

Possibly one of the best and cheapest computer warehouses in the country. If it fits into or attaches to your PC or Mac then these chaps will probably have it in stock. You can order online or if like me your lucky enough to live nearby you can pop down and collect. Their shop can get very busy, especially on Saturdays, so it’s a good idea to reserve online before you head down there.

I have used Scan on many occasions and have never been disappointed. Most of their products are much cheaper than on the high street. Scan mostly focuses on national internet sales through their online shop
but you can also collect from their sales counter at their Middlebrook warehouse.

Scan is one of the best places to buy computers & spares, at reasonable prices. In contrast with the big retailers such as PC world, the shop is biased more towards the sales counters than product displays, although a recent refit has seen the showroom improve a great deal. They have some unique self-​service ordering points, useful if you already know what you want and helping to keep the queues down. If you do choose to talk to the staff, you’ll find they are knowledgable and very able to assist with your needs. There’s also a separate technical help desk.
Scan sell a good range of products including their own-​brand computers. In virtually all cases I have found better and cheaper products here than at high street stores.
