I’ve been drinking in the poacher for the last 3 yet now and. Still remember the first time I steppe through the doors, we were greeted by a huge Liverpudlian voice shouting across the bar welcoming us in with the usual «what can ai get ya» and it’s still the same today when we go In. The poacher is a typical village boozer with lots of locals and characters alike its always a very friendly welcoming place to Go and unwind after a busy day /​week.
The bar serves the usual beverages Stella, fosters, strongbow and a large selection of the usual bitters an always have a good selection of guest ales to. Food is served during the day till around 2 ish I think .
Children are also welcome but must leave by 9pm there is no children’s play area but a large Chest if toys are provided In doors for them to play with. You will have a good night or day in the poacher.
