So, I did as I said I would and gave it another go. Again, the delivery was early, polite driver and food was piping hot. So, I changed it up a bit and ordered some completely different items off the menu. Fried lamb with ginger and spring onions, soft noodles with beef, salt and pepper wings, sweet and sour chicken and my normal favourite Singapore noodles. So, the noodles distinctly lacked flavour, bland and boring and I have to add salt and pepper to them, which really shouldn’t happen with Chinese food, and it is even more annoying knowing that I could have made them better myself — and I am no cook let me tell you. The lamb, well this could have been any ginger and gravy dish. Fried soft noodles and beef(Chow mein) was okay, as for the sweet and sour chicken, well, not too sure what they were trying to accomplish here! See the pictures. It was almost their version of popcorn chicken with a tub of S&S sauce, but it was chewy and basically tough as old boots. I binned it. So, I’ve been fair as I ordered it again, on a different night, with some different dishes and now the decision most definitely is meh. I won’t use this one again as there are some much better ones in the area.

Excellent food and great value. The all you can eat buffet includes delicious duck. Good service from the staff.

I used to frequent this place atleast once a week when I lived close by in Borehamwood(that was 14 years ago). I have to say that that coming back to see the same family running the restaurant and ordering the same favourites was great. Their chilli beef, soup and noodle dishes are great. Just the same as it always was, a real treat. Brought back happy memories.
