i rarely buy overseas but when i do, i make sure its from a reputable seller/store and after many reviews, this shop is definitely trusted. what did i buy? i couldn’t wait any longer after reading many positive reviews about sony’s latest xperia phone, the z3 and z3 compact so that’s the phone i got, the z3 compact which is similar in size to my s3. but why overseas and not a north american version? the phone was not only release first in europe(set to release in a week or so in NA) but it is the cheapest you can find out there and that’s including duty and tax unless you can get a student discount which i’m not anymore and i don’t think sony canada does offer such deal so that’s why i bought it from clove. now, i do not have the phone in my hand yet as i just bought it friday(oct. 24th) and it’s currently being process at yul custom(montreal airport custom). i can definitely say shipping is extremely fast. whatever delay i may experience now will be because of custom. communication is fast and easy too. since i don’t want to pay long distance calling fee, i used emails as the main communication service and they reply in a timely manner. mind you, i’m 5hr behind so take that in mind if you send an email in the afternoon if you’re in NA. price wise, depending on what you’re looking at buying, after conversion, it could be quite a deal or not so much. the only negative would be warranty. manufacturers do not cover out of country warranty(like sony canada doesn’t cover USA or overseas warranty) so you’ll have to ship it back to the point of origin(in this case, to clove) for them to take care. i can’t comment on it as i’ve never have or haven’t had to get any warranty service before. kind of sad when i look at the price that you guys are getting versus what i’m getting over here. anyway, so far, i’m a very satisfied customer
