‘Sound Of The Suburbs’ Had the best Ska nights in there from 2003 — 06. Opening night with: Desmond Dekker RIP, also The Beat, Neville Staple all back in Bournemouth for the first time for years plus many more so it wasn’t all cheese!!! I learnt to DJ which helped business and nights are still happening in Bournemouth though now relocated to the THE PIER/LIGHTHOUSE POOLE

!!!THIS VENUE IS NOW CLOSED — PERMANENTLY!
This place was the home of Cheesy music, bar promotions and silly dancing right on the seafront in Bournemouth.
Home to hen dos, stag nights and any other reasons for a large group of people (especially if they are in fancy dress) to go out and have a good fun night out.
The music varied from rock (Nirvana, Metallica, Bön Jovi) to 80s (Tiffany’s I think we are alone now being a weekly fixture in the play list.) with some up to date tracks mixed in — Katy Perry, Nickelback and Kid Rock all spring to mind.
Like it or loathe it — Jumpin Jaks is unfortunaltely closed on Bournemouth Seafront.
